Dr. Pete's Chiropractic is home to three of the top non-surgical clinicians in Aspen. With two physical therapists and a chiropractor, the team offers well over 48 years of clinical experience treating the spectrum of orthopedic, performance, neck and back pain, and neurological issues.

PETER SCHER: DC, CCEP, CERTIFIED DRY NEEDLING PRACTITIONER

 

Peter Scher attended University of Georgia for his undergraduate and Life Chiropractic College West, where he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic. As a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner as well as a Certified Dry Needling Practitioner, he treats the whole person structurally from head to toe, with an emphasis on detecting and correcting both the global and local kinetic chain dysfunction(s). His areas of expertise include Full Spine Diversified adjusting, CCEP extremity adjusting, Integrative Systemic Dry needling (ISDN), soft tissue manipulation/adhesion release, proprioceptive and core stabilization rehabilitation, Custom Corrective Orthotic design, and ergonomic training with an emphasis on patient education.

As an avid telemark skier, snowboarder, and cyclist, Peter is empathetic to the needs of Aspen’s athletic community and is dedicated to keeping people doing what they love for as long as they want to do it.

CHRIS PESHEK: PT

 

Chris Peshek graduated from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 1991 and has worked at the Aspen Club Sports Medicine Institute for over 25 years. His specialties include manual therapy, orthopedics, sports medicine, golf conditioning and rehabilitation, and working with the valleys’ high school athletes to help them return to their sport of choice in the quickest manner possible.

Chris enjoys the community involvement aspect of the clinic, as he has coached numerous youth teams through the years. He is presently an assistant coach for the Aspen High School football team, a post he has held for the past 11 years. He also loves spending his free time with his wife and three children, enjoying all the activities that the Roaring Fork valley offers.

SARAH MILLER, PT, DPT, CERTIFIED IN CONCUSSION MANAGEMENT

 

Sarah Miller attended Clemson University for her undergraduate degree and received her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in 2016. As a DPT student, she completed a clinical practicum at the Aspen Club Sports Medicine Institute, where she developed a passion for orthopedics and sports medicine.

She has achieved a concussion management certification and is eager to fill a need for those who struggle with post-concussive symptoms in the valley. Sarah is working toward her certification in dry needling having completed level one training. Sarah also enjoys teaching a variety of group fitness classes in Aspen.

 

When Sarah is not helping patients with their physical therapy rehabilitation, she enjoys skiing, hiking, playing outdoors, and exploring the town. She also loves watching the Clemson Tigers play.
